How long will it take for my kit to arrive? What if I need the morning-after pill right away?

Does the morning-after pill terminate pregnancy?
No, the morning-after pill prevents pregnancy before it happens. It does not terminate an existing pregnancy.
Is the morning-after pill legal in Oklahoma?
Yes, the morning-after pill is legal because it’s emergency contraception (aka pregnancy prevention).
When should I take the morning-after pill?
The sooner you take the pill after unprotected sex, the more effective it is. The pill is most effective within 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected sex.
How will I know the morning-after pill worked?
Your period should come at the normal time in your cycle or within a week. If it’s delayed further, it’s possible you may be pregnant.Taking a pregnancy test weekly after unprotected sex is advised. The pregnancy test strips in your kit are 99% accurate in detecting the pregnancy hormone but may not detect a pregnancy before 3 weeks. Is there a weight limit to take the morning-after pill?
If you are over 165lbs, or has it been more than 3 days since you had unprotected sex, or have you missed 2 days of your birth control, you may need a prescription for an alternative birth control method. Text or call our helpline at (539) 302-3615 and we can get help you get one ASAP.
Who can order the Morning-After Pill Kit?
At this time, you must be a resident of Oklahoma to order kits via mail.
